This series of three paintings was adapted from photos I took at The Grand Canyon on Labor Day weekend in 2014. I call her Miss 97 as if she was a beauty queen or model. I was fortunate that she swooped down and perched on a precipice close by and had the wonderful opportunity to photograph and appreciate this rare bird that we saw on our babymoon.
